Academic Health Science Network grant awarded
The Academic Health Science Network North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC) has awarded Manus a grant for finalising the product design before design freeze, obtaining a medical device CE approval and establishing first sales in the non-regulated (research) market.

Following the Technology Strategy Board's decision to award a grant to Manus Neuro-Dynamica for the final phase of research and development of the Sensor-pen, Sky News ran this piece featuring footage of the Sensor-pen trials with comments from Dr. Kieran Breen of Parkinson's UK.
This significant Euro News documentary feature showcases the DiPAR Sensor-pen technology at the University Medical Centre, Groningen, Netherlands during early-stage trials. It includes interviews with patients, scientists and clinicians as well as a comprehensive overview of the technology.
The documentary was made available on World Parkinson's Day (11th April) 2012 and was broadcast in 130 worldwide. It was also aired for a full week in Futuris - Euronews' award-winning programme on European science, research and innovation.
